Heading down to the ground
in a city full of art
Look what I found
when I followed the heart
Boats, side by side,
day and night
Perhaps, nothing to hide
until it’s light
The Amstel’s town,
a nobel royal place
a man with a crown
on his head some days
Close to the royal square
I lived and walked
Beautiful houses everywhere
I went and talked
A new day, many things
to explore and smell
Tulips and other kings
have something to tell
In a garden, on the wall
painted, grown in yellow
The master hasn’t to fall
in pieces like a fellow
